Vivex Invest Job Description

Job Title: Team Leader and Principle Engineer (Java platforms/JEE)

We are looking for experienced developer/Team Lead to join high-tech startup invested by Ukrainian-Polish VC company.

Required Proficiency:

· Languages: Java(1.4/1.5/1.6), Groovy

· Environment : MySQL, Apache Tomcat, nginx

· Web: JavaScript, HTML/XHTML, CSS

· Tools: Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA

· Technologies: Grails , AJAX, Spring, Hibernate, EJB, JSP/Servlets/Filters

· Other: JUnit, Ant/Maven, SQL, XML

Required Experience:

· Strong experience in JEE Architecture solutions

· Strong knowledge of Java Web Development Frameworks

· Strong knowledge of Java server-side development using nginx, Tomcat

· knowledge of web development using Grails and Groovy

· knowledge of working with standard web technologies HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, browser tweaks

· preferable working experience under web applications with high traffic load

Required Qualifications:

· Excellent analytical/problem solving skills, ability to think creatively and proactively, to solve complex technical problems

· Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced agile environment

· Excellent documentation, communication and leadership skills

· At least medium written and verbal English skills

Your Responsibilities at Vivex Invest will include, but are not limited to:

• Leading technical part of the project
• Planning company’s milestones and being responsible for the execution of their technical part
• Working closely with other development teams based in Ukraine and abroad.
• Taking part in hiring and management of the development team for the company’s projects
